ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Condition monitoring

Condition Monitoring is a process of measuring certain conditions of machinery, such as vibration, noise, etc. Which may indicate the onset of machine fault This allows maintenance to be scheduled to prevent equipment failures. By including condition monitoring in the maintenance practice, equipment availability is greatly improved. Revamp Sixteen assists clients to incorporate condition monitoring techniques in the maintenance practices thereby improving on equipment / machine availability.

Condition monitoring techniques

  • Vibration analysis and diagnostics is undertaken to determine any abnormal vibrations as a result of irregular operation which may indicate the onset of failure.
  • Lubricant analysis is used to analyze for oil contaminants to detect abnormal machine operation.
  • Acoustic emissions testing detects and monitors the release of ultrasonic stress waves in order to locate any material defects
  • Infrared thermography is used to detect abnormal heat patterns within machines to indicate inefficiencies and defects.
  • Quality control

Quality control is a process of ensuring that a products quality is maintained or improved. Every supplier needs to provide the customer/client with a quality certificate for every product they supply to show the client that thorough work and quality check were conducted on the product. The are different standards each product must adhere to, to pass the set standard. The chemical analysis and metallurgical characterization are undertaken by Revamp Sixteen on consumables such as steel balls, liners and chemical reagents. This is done independently to ensure that the end - user is satisfied with the products they receive.

  • Establish steps to improve quality
  • Establish quality benchmarks
  • Check product/service quality
  • Analyze variance between controls and actual
  • Check variances statistical limits
  • Take corrective action

  • Metal accounting reconciliation

The accuracy of material flow through plant and the stockpiles is increasingly becoming very important because it feeds into financial statements. It then becomes critical that scientific methods be employed to accurately report on material flow and plant/mine stockpiles. It is not uncommon in the industry to overestimate/underestimate the stock due to measurement errors and other estimation methods. Revamp Sixteen comes in and identifies measurements and reporting errors in order to improve on the accuracy of the reported figures.

    Performance monitoring

Additionally Revamp Sixteen identifies key performance indicators from both first principles and statistical analysis. These are plotted graphically to track equipment, circuits and overall plant performances. These are reported in various forms as preferred by client. The report formats range from web based, SMS, WhatsApp, PDF, etc. Undesirable events can also be noted and reported as soon as they take place. This automated reporting approach leads to personnel using their valuable time to address identified problems and not compiling reports.
